DAILY LIFE

As much as I love mashing up different elements in my illustrations, I also really love scenes from daily life. I love those private moments when no one is looking and I love people who are “not entirely perfect”. A girl with wild hair and a missing tooth playing dress up with her bored cat, a weird kid imagining to be a giant bird, a man with a slight belly and tilted foot who’s almost spilling his wine because he’s distracted by his phone, while the dog is conflicted by his desire to eat the plate of pie that has been put on the floor. These things are adorable to me.
